William R. Thorner, DMD
|
Dr. Thorner is originally from Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. He received a B.A. in biology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1985. He earned his D.M.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1990. He completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Louisville in 1991. After being in private practice in Erlanger and Florence, Kentucky from 1991 to 2003, Dr. Thorner relocated to Ashland, Kentucky.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Eastern Kentucky Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves on the local Salvation Army Advisory Board.
In his spare time, he enjoys hockey, fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.

Marc K. Schneider, DMD
Dr. Schneider comes to us from Louisville, KY. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a major in Chemistry. He earned his D.M.D. from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1984 and has 25 years of experience as a general dentist. |

Kathy
Kathy Thorner serves as the Office Manager for Caring Dentistry. She is a graduate of Marshall University and attended Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.
The Thorner's are members of Fairview Baptist Church in Ashland. Kathy is a member of the Paramount's Women's Association and serves on their Annual Gala Committee. She is also an advocate for Autistic and special needs children.
Kathy enjoys working out at the Ashland Area YMCA , reading and spending time with Dr. Thorner and their children.

Ginger
Ginger is one of the Dental Hygienists for Caring Dentistry. She graduated from Shawnee State University's Dental Hygiene program in 1996.
Ginger grew up in Greenup County, and her family currently resides in Argillite. She has been married to her husband, Brian, since 1990. They have one son, Derek. They are members of Raceland Christian Church. In her spare time she likes to read, piece together quilt tops, but her favorite pastime is golf.

Renee
Renee is our other Dental Hygienist at Caring Dentistry. She graduated from Shawnee State University's Dental Hygiene program in 1996.
Renee grew up in Boyd Co. and still lives in the area. She has been married to her husband Kevin since 1999. They have three beautiful daughters Bekah, Tori, and Maddi. They attend Potters House of Worship. In her spare time she likes to watch UK football and basketball, snow skiing, and spending time with her family.

Brenda
Brenda works as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. She grew up in Sylvania, Ohio and later attended Eastern Kentucky University.
Brenda is married to Don Renneker and together they have three children Annale, Jon and Elissa. In her spare time Brenda enjoys reading, crafting, sewing, volunteering and has become a "mom taxi service". |

Karen
Karen is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. She is a graduate of Lawrence County High School and Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Karen is currently pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. Karen is also a Pittsburg Steelers fan!

Yadi
Yadi works as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. She was born in Panama City and attended the Panama Canal College before moving to the United States. Yadi is also fluent in Spanish. She is married to Patrick Stahl and they have two children, Ian and Zoe. In her spare time, Yadi enjoys working out, spending time with her family and watching football with her husband.

Kerry
Kerry is just one of the smiling faces who will greet you at Caring Dentistry. She grew up in Flatwoods and attended Russell High School, but now calls Ashland her home. Kerry and her husband Craig have two beautiful daughters Kaitlin and Emma. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible. She also enjoys reading and sewing and serves as the President of the PTO for Crabbe Elementary.

Tracie
Tracie is another smiling face that will greet you as you enter Caring Dentistry. Tracie is a graduate of Russell High School. She is married to Mick, an Ashland Firefighter. Together they have two boys Jacob and Zack. They are members of Fairview Baptist Church. Tracie is also a Pampered Chef representative and in her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
